There have been a lot of great people who have spoken about Nature from time and again, yet, here I am speaking about Her in my own way…
‘NATURE’ - This undoubtedly is one of the most comforting words I have known ever since I started learning this lovely language called English…Learning curve that is still in progress... :)

Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary
Life isn’t always about meeting people...Sometimes we gather more joy in meeting some other creatures. Don’t we? Well here, it wasn’t really about meeting them but surely was about getting to see them, the excitement not ramping down as even this was a rare enough thing in our lives. ‘Them’ meaning animals we don’t normally get to see in our daily lives.
To get to visit a wildlife sanctuary was like a dream I’ve had ever since…
Wildlife sanctuaries do to me, what no zoo in this world can...It is a home for these lovely creatures!!! A home which is its own; A home which means its freedom. What more could we(read mankind) gift an animal than giving it a HOME! A home it desires for...

Walk ‘o trek at Gopalaswamy Betta!
A break I was seeking for, since long...I couldn’t have asked for a better one. Gopalaswamy Betta was the place in mind, ‘betta’ meaning hill in Kannada. Situated about 240 kms from Bangalore, in the State of Karnataka, this is the highest peak in the Bandipur National Park.
Friends making all the difference...We were all picked from our places and our journey towards the destination in mind was flagged off. All the fun talks and the tots of music kept us away from realizing how early that Sunday had begun for us...Which would have otherwise been spent under a blanket all cozy(read lazy and boring).

Indian Ocean – As the name, so the band!!
Indian Ocean – A music band known for its intensity in its touch of diversified genres, be it Fusion, Indian, Rock, Jazz or Sufi...A contemporary fusion music band whose compositions are a ‘soulful amalgamation of sorts’. At times it is seen glorifying the Indian shlokas, Christian hymns, etc. making an absolutely mesmerizing Indo-rock fusion melody, with an unusual topping of jazz making it totally spectacular!!
I had earlier heard a few, yes very few tracks of theirs but loved them to the very core having a considerably decent understanding towards this heavenly field called music. Knew them only by those few numbers I had heard till then. Their piece of music would pump an amazing level of positive energy within, making me feel great at heart and mind. Their melodies were always my best stress busters!! But back then, little did I know that there was a lot more to what they are and what their extent of passion towards their work of art was...

An Abrupt Fascination!!! :)
It all happened during the classic visit to Auroville, the city of dawn, situated at about 10 kms north of the town of Pondicherry. This was perhaps the first time I saw complete sacrifice and absolute dedication for spiritual devotion! To walk the path of goodwill and make this world a better place…To leave all the materialistic luxury and fantasies of pleasure…To achieve the immortal luxury of peace & satisfaction and accomplish the divine pleasure of benevolence…To heal the world with the realization of human unity. This is a town being built where people from all countries can live in peace and progressive harmony, above all creeds, politics and nationalities. Auroville founded by Mirra Alfassa (better known as ‘The Mother’) is one of the biggest projects of Sri Aurobindo Society. It is Sri Aurobindo’s vision in action. It is a place which represents no religion, no philosophy and no sect.
The greenery around was serene. I loved gazing all over and was busy admiring the variety of plants and trees around while I was having a stroll in the campus…When my eyes suddenly fell on somebody. It absolutely distracted my attraction towards the place so green and so beautiful. Perhaps I saw something, rather, someone more pleasing!

DIVINE ART!
Art could be a pass time,
Art could be a passion all time.
Art could be antique,
Art could be modern.
Divine art is in any case a blessing,
Done out of passion or by profession.
Divine art is delightfully striking,
Certainly an eternal linger in fashion.

Aesthetically Divine…!!
Golden Temple – Amritsar, Punjab, India
The Golden Temple…I came across the name of this sacred temple when I was real young. Read about it when in school and wanted to visit this beauty ever since…It was the architectural splendor which was certainly the first factor of attraction. But little did I know about the heavenly bliss I would be blessed with, when I stepped into the premises of the Gurudwara (a place of worship for Sikhs).

Tribute to a Friend…A toast to our friendship!!
Day 1 at Trivandrum –
I was there to start the professional front of my life. Reached the venue provided by the firm a day prior. The room was allotted to me and I got busy settling my belongings.
Also, was eager to know who my room-mate would be. I soon learnt who my room-mate was and then, after some introductory chit chat, we both got busy doing what I was otherwise doing all alone, till sometime back.

Paragliding – A sashay with parachute!!!
It was a bright Sunday morning. My bro and I left for one of his friends place quite early in the morning. Met up with his friend and had a stroll to a common spot where we met up with a few other friends of theirs. Got together with a good chunk and then head towards a nearby breakfast

Adventure: The Pursuit of Life…
A fact of Life: ”The man who engages in the most adventures is surest to come out unhurt”
"We have plenty of courage, I am sure; All we need is the confidence in ourselves. There is no living thing that is not afraid when it faces danger. The true courage is in facing danger when you are afraid, and that kind of courage we have in plenty."
Well if you’re wondering what this editorial is all about...It surely isn’t one close to Nature but yes, it’s a very well Advertised Venture. Not just well advertised, a very well-implemented one as well. Here is this write-up elucidating my trip to the Wild Tribe Ranch at Ponneri. It is about an hour’s drive from Chennai.

Groovy Trek to Yelagiri...!
The trip to Yelagiri organized by Maitree (the cultural & social forum of TCS), was something I was really excited about. But that would no way mean it was something small in my life. :) Anyway, this was my first trip with Maitree…All the more reasons for me to be excited about as I had heard a lot about these folks, about all their work but had never got a chance to actually interact with them. No wonder, I was really looking out for this expedition!!

Journey to Gladiator Season II Finale – Fashion Show!!!
It was a very usual day at office. Done with the first half of the monotony of my life (read ‘day @ work’), I was heading towards the second half of the monotony (read ‘cook+eat+sleep’)…When on my way, I got a pretty ‘not so comforting’ call…!
It was a call from one of my colleagues. Nothing for me to really worry about but on having attended the call, my brows remained raised for a few seconds, out of an alarming fact that I was asked to be a part of one of the Fashion Show teams participating in the Gladiator Season II Preliminaries!!! This was news out of nowhere. Gosh!! Fashion Show and ME…!! I remained perplexed for a bit. I couldn’t really be affirmative about this sudden bang, considering the fact that I had never walked the ramp and also sensed that I would be the only outsider (as in out of their technical team) there. To be more precise, I might not know anybody there and this was really not consoling enough. Though it would have been no big a deal otherwise, at that instant it seemed a problem king-size.

Team trip to TADA Falls...
It was a breezy noon inside our module!! Confused?!! Well, there was this breeze flowing across our team (DWRP), carrying along the news of the onsite funds having arrived at the offshore. This was news big enough for us. We were all pondering on what exactly this fund would be utilized for.
Soon this huge piece of melting ice berg…mind you, melting due to the increase in the rate of flow of mechanics in and around all our brains, resulting in an exothermic process…was broken!! We the AEP/HR initiative folks (read whatever you prefer :) ) of our team were called to have a discussion so as to infer the best way this fund could be utilized.
After all the possible discussions in and out of the frame, it was finally decided that we would have a day’s team outing on a non working day (preferably a Saturday). We had quite a few options which were all streamlined to just a couple, Tada Falls in AP or 1 of the theme parks in Chennai. Tada was the call of time and we the people!!
